A Problem that the dea watch-list made worse

Cracking down on the individuals who abuse
certain substances just causes more harm. The
dea instated mandatory forms that people must
fill out in order to purchase certain chemicals that could
be misused to manufacture scheduled drugs as part of their watch-list. In my opinion if
they are going to break the law they are going
to do it. Cracking down on the tools that they
use to do it does nothing but create drugs like
crokodil. The reason that the stuff is so
dangerous is because of the dea's actions. In
my opinion they made the meth lab problem worse
and more dangerous, as well as the meth itself.
If they would have approached the issue
differently the meth lab outbreak wouldn't have
gotten as out of hand as it did. If they worked
with the community and educated people instead
of attacking entire professions and creating
stigmas about them then maybe they wouldn't have people
driving around doing one pot meth cooking
ruining their body's and endangering the lives
of others. If they had never created the
watch-list the one pot method would have never
came into existence, methamphetamine would not
be as dangerous as it is and a lot more people
might still be alive. Funds could have been allocated to helping decrease the problemed abuse of these substances and the mexican meth problem may not be as bad as it is today.
