We live in a society where it is OK to prey upon a group(or community)
of people based on the plant they choose to identify with.
Some like
tomatoes, for their taste, some like lavender for it's smell, some like
the morning glory for it's beautiful blooms, you are not allowed to
like cannabis for any of those reasons in this society.

Legalization Initiatives
Can you take any intoxicating legal herb that you want and drive as long
as you can pass a sobriety test? Can you grow those herbs in public
view? Can you grow hops in your yard if you want too, even though they
are commonly used to brew alcoholic beverages? The amendments coming out
these days do not contain reasonable compromises. They will continue the plight of those in the cannabis community. There will still be arrests of the poor and those that cannot afford to buy from cannabis retailers, those that chose to grow what god gave to them.

Outdoor Cannabis
If a minor snuck onto your property and stole a bunch of foxglove or purple irises and consumed them then died who would most likely get the blame? Now apply that same situation to cannabis yet the minor doesn't die. Who would get the blame? The problem is with you, not those that want the freedom to grow a plant, just like any other variety put on this earth.

My opinion on the CSA and plants.
Do
we measure the value of dandelions in a field or trees in a forest like
we do cannabis or other similar plants? How do they know that these
certain scheduled plants are destined for use or sale as a drug? They
are living organisms. The plant doesn't become a drug until either the
THC or other similar substance is extracted from it, or someone consumes
it with the intent to cure or treat an illness or disease.
Any plant, which contains hundreds or thousands of substances listed as a single substance under the CSA is mislabeled and that makes any targeting of an individual under that false labeling unconstitutional and unlawful.
A substance is a compound separate from any plant material or other compounds. It is singular, not plural. Cannabis, or any other plant for that matter by definition are not substances.
